This site contains samples from and information about the books published by Young Rascal AB, a small Stockholm-based publishing house specialising in Nordic books about advertising, design and restaurants & cafés.

Young Rascal AB was founded in 1990 by Åke Lindberg, joint owner together with Dan Jörgenson.

Since the start we have published 29 titles. In the latest book, Classy Finnish Restaurants, 52 of Finlands very best restaurants are presented, in text and appetizing pictures. 30 of the restaurants in the book are located in Helsinki, five are in Tampere and three in Turku.

Classy Finnish Restaurants is the third book that we have published in the field of restaurants. The others are Classy Restaurants and Cafés in Stockholm and Classy Norwegian Restaurants.

In late 2009 the book Creative Swedish Agencies 2010 was released. In it 27 of Swedens best advertising and design agencies, all based in Stockholm and Gothenburg, are presented, each with a case which gives a good picture of the agency and its way of creating added value for its client.

Our latest book about design in Norway, called Norwegian Design 08/09, was published in October 2007. It covers the work of 48 graphic and industrial design agencies.
